A combination of stone walls, indigenous timber and thatch has been used throughout the lodge. The individual accommodation lodges, which overlook the lake, are very private and offer magnificent views through huge glass panes that open out onto a timber deck.

The central lounge and dining area is located in a grove of shady trees overlooking the lake and a natural water feature. The individual tables overflow from the inside dining area onto the patio to allow for outside dining. A swimming pool is situated on the lower level of the main lodge beside the bar.
There is an upstairs loft which has a satellite television and video and a good selection of wildlife videos and reading material. The loft is very inconspicuous and does not disturb guests relaxing in the main lodge. The curio shop has a stock of essential items as well as a range of unusual crafts and gifts.
A full compliment of exercise equipment is housed in the Health Suite. Additional facilities such as massage and beauty treatments can be provided.
Conference Facilities are also available.

Guests can gaze at the stars while taking an open air shower or relax in a ball and claw bath while watching the sun set over the lake.
The Matusadona Suite is ideal for Honeymooners and has a lovely setting high up overlooking the lodge with its own private swimming pool. The spacious bathroom has twin basins, a large bath overlooking the lake and an open air shower.
The Royal Tonga suits those clients who want to experience absolute privacy in extremely lavish surroundings. The double story suite has an entrance hall, large lounge/dining area and guest cloakroom on the ground floor. The lounge opens out onto a leisure deck with a swimming pool. Upstairs, the expansive bedroom has large glass windows allowing for a breathtaking view of the lake. There is an en-suite dressing room and bathroom.
No detail has been overlooked in the Royal Tonga, from the exquisite African antiques, artifacts and paintings to the deep mahogany wood furniture and rich ethnic fabrics which decorate the interiors.
